Annual Report Now Available

The Institute for Community Alliances has compiled a report on homelessness in Wisconsin in 2015. The goal of this report is to serve as an overview of homelessness in Wisconsin and to provide recommendations moving forward in the effort to end homelessness statewide. We hope you find the report useful, and recommend you share it widely with your respective networks.

Welcome New Staff Member

Please welcome Iraida Vazquez to ICA! Iraida started with ICA as the new Southeast Region HMIS Coordinator earlier this month. Iraida comes to ICA after many years working as a Paralegal at Legal Action of Wisconsin in their Racine office. She will be covering southeastern Wisconsin and the Racine continua in her new role. A self-proclaimed “data dork,” Iraida is very excited to help with the challenge of ending homelessness by using data to drive decisions for each community.

CoC Funded Projects APRs - Esnaps Still Closed

As your CoC funded projects enter a new grant year, please be advised that the HUD Esnaps system is still closed to APR submissions.  HUD will announce publicly when the system is open once again, and any projects that need to submit an APR where the grant year has already ended will have 90 days from the system opening to submit the APR.

Additionally, the APR that will be utilized when the system does re-open will be a new version that is not yet available in HMIS.  You are free and encouraged to continue running the current APR, in particular the APR data quality report, but be advised that format will not be accepted by Esnaps when it becomes available.
