Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
ICA offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th.
New Coordinated Entry Prioritization Reports (Racine, Dane, BOS)
The coordinated entry prioritization reports have been updated with the new HUD data standards. These updates affect the chronic status and months homeless calculations, which may change the rank order of some clients on the list. Old versions of these reports are still available in the "Archive" folder. We recommend that you begin by running a copy of both the new and old versions to check for any data errors or inconsistencies. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the WISP Help Desk.

Tips and Tricks
Why is the Internet so slow?
Frustrated by the speed of website page loads, or having difficulty getting websites to load at all? You are likely not alone. America’s internet infrastructure works a lot like the airline industry. To get to its destination, data travels through various hubs. And similar to airline hubs where you are often stranded for hours on end for a number of reasons (or just because O’Hare in Chicago is the worst,) your data can also experience a backlog in getting to its destination. Sometimes this may affect your use of WISP and ART, but also any other site you may use during the course of a day. If you think things are slower than normal, you can check the status of the internet and its hubs using the Internet Pulse website:
http://www.internetpulse.net/
The site is pretty basic. If there are some minor delays, a “hub” will highlight in yellow. If there are major back-ups, the “hub” will be highlighted in red. The more red hubs you see, the slower the internet will be, and in some cases access to certain websites will be unavailable altogether. In those cases the best thing you can do is to be patient and wait for the speed issues to be resolved.
