Hours: 25 hours/week (part time)
Status: Salaried Non-Exempt
Salary/wage range: $28,000 - $32,500 DOE
Reports to: ICA Corporate Executive Officer and WY-500 CoC Executive Committee

The Wyoming Statewide Continuum of Care (CoC) is seeking a Coordinator to support the functions of the CoC, their participating agencies, grantees and the Board of Directors. The Wyoming Continuum of Care is the designated organization the oversees coordination of services for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.

The Continuum of Care Coordinator role is a part-time, remote position but the candidate is required to be a resident of the State of Wyoming, as regular travel and activity within the state is expected. This staff position will be an employee of the Institute for Community Alliances (ICA) as ICA serves as the Collaborative Applicant for the Wyoming Statewide CoC.
Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide overall leadership, planning, and management for CoC development and operations. The CoC Coordinator is the lead staff for the CoC team and the primary contact for the CoC Board and external partners.
Tasks
Planning/Facilitation/Engagement (60%)
• Coordinate meetings of the WY-500 CoC with board/committee Chairs and Co-Chairs; provide administrative support to develop agendas and compile minutes of meetings.
• Maintain communications with CoC members regarding events, resources, and policies; manages and coordinates CoC correspondence
• Maintain CoC Governance Charter and CoC policies; amend as indicated
• Convene and staff ad hoc workgroups as indicated to ensure completion of CoC tasks and/or to pursue action indicated by emerging needs and trends
• Represent CoC in statewide/shared governance and leadership structures
• Promote and provide training and technical assistance to applicants in the local competition for HUD CoC project funds
Grant Writing/Reporting (25%)
• Draft annual HUD Consolidated Application and CoC planning grant
• Manage the annual local competition for HUD CoC project funding
• Monitor performance of projects (with CoC Performance Committee) and report findings to agency and/or funder as required
Systems Facilitation and Supervision (15%)
• Manage CoC email listserv and website to inform and support CoC participants and partners
Qualifications and key competencies
• Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum three years of progressive experience in planning, nonprofit administration, public policy, business, or related field
• Strong writing skills and experience in preparing federal funding applications, as well as managing and reporting on secured funding; preference for experience with HUD
• Ability to facilitate a cross-sector coalition, including government, nonprofits, schools, housing developers, service providers, and people with lived experiences

• Experience in public speaking and demonstrated ability to work with the public, articulate ideas and work with people of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, confident individual with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to solve problems, identify new solutions and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in technology, including online databases, web conference services, and funding application systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the CoC’s geographic area.
