PIT UNIVERSITY Training Recordings - 2026
This year’s date for the Winter Point-In-Time Count is January 28, 2026.
All PIT and HIC data will be due to ICA by the end of the day on February 11th, 2026.
2026 NEW! PIT 101 Basic Overview : This video is a great resource for those beginning to get involved in the Point-In-Time Count or Housing Inventory Count. It is a high-level overview of the PIT and HIC and their importance.
2026 New! PIT 201 Unsheltered Street Count Video: This video will serve as an overview of the unsheltered PIT count, including walk-throughs of how to complete the online surveys for the night of the count.
2026 New! HMIS/DVIMS Sheltered Project PIT Report: This video walks through the HMIS/DVIMS project-level PIT report in Business Objects. This should be run for the following HMIS/DVIMS project types: Emergency Shelter, Safe Haven, Transitional Housing, Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Other Permanent Housing.

This session will cover a high-level overview of the unsheltered submission and the sheltered submission process. While this session is highly recommended, it will not replace the training videos available on the ICA website.
