This year’s date for the Winter Point-In-Time Count is January 26, 2026.
All Point-In-Time and Housing Inventory Count submissions are due to ICA at 11:59pm on February 11, 2026.

2026 New! PIT 201 Unsheltered Street Count Video 2026 : This video will serve as an overview of the unsheltered PIT count, including brief walk-throughs of the Counting Us app which is the method used to complete the online surveys for the night of the count. Watch this if you are involved in the unsheltered count.

2026 New! Sheltered PIT Project Report: This video walks through the HMIS project-level PIT report in Business Objects. This should be run for the following HMIS/DVIMS project types: Emergency Shelter, Safe Haven, Transitional Housing, Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Other Permanent Housing. Watch this if you are responsible for uploading the HMIS report to the portal for submission.

PIT 301 HIC and Sheltered Count HMIS providers: This video will cover the HIC and sheltered PIT Count information for HMIS providers, including a video walkthrough of running the report in Business Objects. Watch this prior to completing your uploads in pitportal.org . Watch this if you are responsible for completing any sheltered PIT/HIC submissions for your HMIS-participating agency.
2026 New! PIT 302 HIC and Sheltered Count Non-HMIS providers: This video will cover the HIC and sheltered PIT Count information for non-HMIS providers. Watch this prior to completing your uploads in pitportal.org . Watch this if you are responsible for completing sheltered PIT/HIC and your agency does NOT use HMIS.
Non Participating Excel File Example With Headers This is only used to input your client detail information and reference when submitting demographic info into the portal. Please note we DO NOT collect the client name information that is for your own tracking purposes.
